What a week that was!

THREE shows in 4 days......... weds City Hall, fri we filled The Sun Inn Beverley to the rafters & last night we layed the smack down at the Roman Bath in York! What a cracking venue that is for live music, right in the middle of historic York. We had 'em singing & dancing right from the off, with Steph in fine voice & the boys tight as a nats chuff.... Hopefully we gave 'em a show to remember, if the number of people asking for business cards afterwards was anything to go by...

Andy & Steph made my night by presenting me with a superb framed shot of me in action at The City Hall which I'm really proud of if I do say so me self. Cheers guys

UP NEXT!

WHAT'S NEXT? Bad Dog return to the stage at one of our fave venues this friday night at The Sun Inn at Beverley, show starts about 9pm & it's always a full house so get there early if you're coming along.......

Saturday night sees us heading down the road to York to rock The Roman Baths for the first time. Hopefully we'll make some new friends & fans there! Steph has promised to give her new outfit an airing this weekend, and let me tell ya it's a bit special! Think Tina Turner in Thunderdome & you'll be right on the money.

And the winner is.......

........unfortunately not us! Beaten in to 2nd place by 1 point according to event organizer Liz, local rock outfit Dirty Wish fronted by Damian Balthazar took the top spot in the Hull Daily Mail Talent Trail 2009. Well done boys we wish you every success for the future!

Still, 2nd place & £750 for our troubles ain't too shabby and it was a real pleasure to rock it up on the big stage in front of 1200 heads! The fact that bands came first & second was a real coup for live music in a sea of solo artists using pre-recorded backing. My prediction is that next years event will be awash with bands, we'll see......

The good news is that Andy's phone has already started ringing with agents/bookers etc so the chances are we will go from strength to strength.

WE'RE IN THE FINAL!

TONIGHT, we got 10 out of 10 from all 5 judges to win our semi-final of The Hull Daily Mail Talent Trail 2009 & are through to the grand final at The Hull City Hall on May 20th! Howzabout that then boys & girls??

Anyways I'm signing off for a few days as I'm heading to Dubai tomorrow........
